The role and what you’ll be getting up to on a day to day basis:

We’re looking for a hands-on Onsite Support Engineer to join our dedicated team, delivering high-quality technical support directly to one of our customers.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a customer facing environment, enjoys problem solving across a range of technologies, and takes pride in delivering a first-class service experience.

You’ll play a key role in keeping our customers up and running, providing onsite and remote support across desktop, infrastructure and applications, while building strong working relationships with stakeholders.

 

You will:

  • Providing 1st and 2nd line onsite and remote support across desktop, laptop, printer and application issues
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across technologies including Windows 10, Office 365, Active Directory, Exchange and Apple devices
  • Managing and prioritising tickets and service requests in line with SLAs, ensuring timely and effective resolution
  • Supporting deployments, installations, moves, adds and changes, as well as contributing to project-based work
  • Communicating clearly with customers and internal teams, keeping stakeholders informed at all stages
  • Carrying out basic network and server troubleshooting where required
  • Continually developing your technical skills and maintaining relevant certifications

 

What you bring:

  • Experience in an IT support role with strong troubleshooting and fault-finding capability
  • Broad technical knowledge across end-user computing and infrastructure technologies
  • Strong experience with tools such as Office 365, Active Directory, SCCM/WSUS/MDT or similar
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting macOS devices
  • Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
  • Ability to work independently, manage your own workload and prioritise effectively to meet SLAs
  • A customer-focused mindset, with the ability to manage expectations and remain calm under pressure
