The role and what you’ll be getting up to on a day to day basis:

We’re looking for a Major Incident Manager to join our  Major Incident Management team — someone who can take command during high pressure situations, coordinate across multiple teams, and keep our service quality at the highest possible standard.

This role sits at the heart of how Littlefish protects service stability for our customers. You’ll lead the response to major incidents across all in scope organisations — bringing together internal teams, third parties, and client technical groups to restore service quickly and professionally.

What you will be doing:

  • Owning and driving the full lifecycle of major incidents
  • Coordinating resolver groups and ensuring everyone follows the major incident process
  • Leading technical and managerial conference calls and issuing accurate client facing updates
  • Producing major incident reports with clear actions and handover notes
  • Continually improving processes, reporting, and service quality metrics
  • Acting as a key escalation point for clients and internal teams
  • Supporting the Major Incident Manager Lead and deputising when needed

What you bring:

  • Strong service management knowledge, ideally with ITIL Foundation
  • Effective relationship building skills with technical teams and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills — able to turn complex information into clear updates
  • A calm, logical approach under pressure
  • The ability to take ownership, prioritise effectively, and drive actions to completion
  • Positivity, professionalism, and resilience even in difficult circumstances

This role is well-suited to someone who wants greater responsibility, visibility, and influence — and who naturally steps up when things get tough.

What can we offer you?

  • Through our one of a kind training programme, the Littlefish Academy, you can increase your earnings by £4,500
  • Referral bonus scheme of £1000 when you successfully refer a friend.
  • Access to our LinkedIn Learning platform, with over 16000 expert-led online tutorials to enhance and achieve your personal and professional goals.
  • Healthcare cash plan. This will give you access to online GP appointments, 24/7 access to qualified counsellors and cash back against a range of general healthcare
  • Casual dress policy
  • Company Pension Scheme

  • 25 days annual leave plus public / bank holidays
  • Purchase of annual leave scheme
